If you have PCOS...

...and took Femara or Clomid, I'm wondering how soon you o'd?
On my own, if I did, I usually o'd very late, like day 30+.
This is my first cyle with Metformin and Femara, and I've seen no signs yet - no positive OPK, CM, etc. - it's CD17.
I realize everyone is different, but I'm wondering what your experience was with roughly when you O'd on medication?

This probably isn't the norm, but I took fermara twice while on metformin, I O'd on CD 33 the first time and 35 the second. I had not ovulated at all on my own in 9 months since coming off the pill. However, I didn't get pregnant either time, we tried this cycle drug free to see if my body would do it on its own. We will start up the drugs again in September if I'm not pg by then.

Your doctor should be monitoring you with ultrasounds starting around CD10-12 so that you can tell how you are responding.

I responded to Clomid and ovulated between CD11-16.

Rather than an u/s, they are doing testing at CD21 to see if it worked - I believe bloodwork.

Yeah, that's worthless if you don't O on CD14 and doesn't tell you anything about your response to the medication.

Insist your doctor do monitoring ultrasounds, or find an RE who will before doing another medicated cycle.

I o'd between days 18-21 on Clomid. I did not ovulate on Femara.
