What is up with Indian people letting their kids run wild in restaurants?
Yeah, yeah, I know there are some white people who do this too, but I swear, every time I go to an Indian restaurant, if there is a family there, it involves kids who spend so much of their time sprinting and weaving around the tables and bellowing at each other that I'm not entirely sure they even HAVE seats. Never ever do I see Indian families with the kids sitting the hell down and behaving. Is this a part of their culture?
Probably to not be lumped into a single homogeneous group is my guess.
Eh. It's like the difference between "Asians" and "Chinese" as far as specificity goes, no?
I'm wondering, if no one anywhere else has seen this phenomenon of Indian children in restaurants, if this is something peculiar to the Pittsburgh Indian community.
The biggest asshole, misbehaving kids I've ever seen are ALWAYS Whitey McWhitersons. So... no.
Same. And, when it comes to college age, the people who make it onto my 'difficult, have to keep an eye on this twit because he/she intentionally flaunts rules and put his/her name on the running list of people's names on a hidden post-it to watch ' are 95% entitled white kids, EVERY semester.
Which, given the racial make-up of where I work says that the minority students are all around less stab-inducing.
I find asshole parents in all colors around here. But they're in different locations. In restaurants, it's usually white kids and Hispanic kids running around like demon spawn. The black kids are pretty much always in their seats at tables, even if they're being loud, but seem to always be running amok in Walmart, darting out in front of peoples carts and shit...but so are the white and Hispanic kids. I rarely see Indian kids out with their parents at all.
