Thursday--Tested, bfn.
Friday--started spotting, think af arrived a day early. Except my period never really shows up. I've been spotting for 4 days straight. I finally gave into my paranoia and took another test. Still negative.

My cycle is usually like clockwork, and this is unnerving. Ugh.

Eta--nope. Back to CD1

If this was usual for you, I'd say low progesterone, but if not, I'm not sure what to think. How many DPO are you? Could it be implantation? If there are no clots and it's lighter than your usual, it may be.

I'll echo Tarheels and ask how many DPO are you? I spotted for 4 days last cycle before my period, which was two days longer than usual.

Sorry that you're back to CD1. My cycle used to be 27 days, you could set your watch to it. Then I had a miscarriage and it has been wonky ever since. The unpredictability definitely sucks. I'm sorry.
