I'm leaving for Rome in a month. It will be the first time I've traveled in the Fall. I've been almost every other time of the year. I was wondering if anyone has been to Italy in the fall and there thoughts.
I've been to Rome before but it was in '07 so any thing that has changed or a must do.
I also read about renting bikes and if anyone as done that I'd love to know your experience.
November is the rainy month in Rome. I'm here right now and the weather just changed a whole lot since two days ago when we were still walking around in t-shirts. I doubt the temperature will rise above the 70s again now.

We just got back a few weeks ago and we were told it was good timing because the temp drops and there is lots of rain. You can do one of those hop on/ off bus tours and stay on the lower level for warmth (and to stay dry if it rains). They are a great easy way to get around to see the sites.
