I broke down and tested early (by like 4 days) with an ept - and it says neg. Why did I test early? Because my boobs have been hurting like MAD - which has happened the last 2 cycles - but never before getting pregnant with DD in 2010. My first symptom with DD was sore boobs.
I know I still have a couple of days and it COULD happen - but it's pretty freakin' unlikely.
And of course we have contractors here finishing the family room, which means my treadmill is packed away, which means I haven't been able to run for the past 2 weeks which is my primary means of stress relief (well, the healthiest that is - I could gorge myself on cookies and halloween candy but I'm trying to make healthier choices).

Boo, sorry about the disappointment. How many DPO are ya?
The treadmill thing sucks. Can you go for a jog outside? Also related: we have been having our basement finished and THANK GAWD it's almost over. So I feel your pain on that end.

If I O'd on CD 17, then I'm 12 DPO. If I O'd on CD 19, then I'm 10 DPO. So it's still 'early' - but since it was a 'test 6 days before your period' tests....
I usually run during DD's nap - so I can't really leave the house. I can probably switch it up a bit, but because DH runs in the AM that just leaves running at night - which is hard to work in around dinner (since I hate running on a full stomach).

It's too early! Those 6 days before your period tests arent dependable when you test early, even though they claim to be. Works for some people, doesn't work for others. I wouldn't count yourself out until you get your period.

Definitely! At 6 days before missed period this month my tests were negative too (or they would have been, they were negative until 2 days before)
Agreed! I tortue myself every month too. I usually start to test around 8dpo, like a crazy woman. Of course, they are always negative then. Even when I was pregnant, I got negatives until 12 or 13dpo (and only on a Wondfo - negatives on like 3 other brands).
Definitely don't give up hope yet. You easily have a few more days where a positive test could pop up. If you google accurate positive pregnancy tests, there is not a 100% rate until several dates after your missed period. I always try to tell myself that someone has to be that late implanter/+ tester.
