Spoilers below for the first half :-)
I've had Divergent on my Nook for months now, but for some reason I hadn't started it until yesterday. I'm about 100 Nook pages from the end (so, a little over halfway through), and I LOVE this book!
I don't know why I find Dystopian Young Adult Fiction so entertaining, but I do.
I adore Tris. I think she's in the Katniss mold -- very mature for her age, but not so grown up that she's unbelieveable. (I want to shake her and tell her to do a better job of faking the simulations, but then I remember that she's a 16 year old child). And I'm so rooting for her and Four (or, Tobias, I guess :-) ).
I can see so much potential for the next books in this series -- making Daultless turn back to it's old ways, overturning the whole faction system, etc.
Sadly, I'm a little wary because I feel like I've heard the next book isn't as good as this one. And I don't even know if the third one is out yet (I'm afraid to Google because I hate spoilers!). Actually, I think I'm just assuming it's a trilogy, maybe it isn't!
So, who's read Divergent? Did you love it? Feel free to post spoilers, if you put a spoiler alert. I'm sure I'll finish the book this evening :-)
I think I love Dystopian Young Adult Fiction too. I loved Divergent and have been recommending it to all my friends since reading it. Insurgent was great too. I wasn't disappointed.

It is a trilogy, but the third book isn't going to be out until sometime in 2013. The second book isn't as good as the first, but I think this series is only OK and not spectacular, so you may want someone else's opinion.

I enjoyed this book a lot and Insurgent as well. There were things I liked better about each of them, so it's basically a tie for me. Hopefully, the third book (due late 2013, I think) is as good as the first two.
I've read a few other YA dystopian series (recently Delirium, also Matched and also THG), and I like Veronica Roth's writing style the best, though I'd rank this series below THG.
I loved this book too. I liked Insurgent a little bit less. I tend to think 2nd books in a trilogy are usually the least enjoyable for me. I am not one to reread books, but I might be tempted to reread Divergent just b/c I liked it so much.
