Anyone thinking about a nursery yet?

I know this is waaaaaaaay too eary for some of you, but is anyone thinking about a nursery yet? Honestly, I kind of hate cutesy nurseries, and I'm pretty sure that's what my mom was expecting me to do. Know what I'm doing instead?

Doctor Who. Aw yeah. And I don't care if it's a girl or a boy - nerddom is gender neutral!

I was just going to do colors. Not really a character theme. I like yellow/gray for a girl, yellow/blue for a boy.

We're doing a travel theme in pale aqua, pale yellow, and gray.

My baby's room is yellow and gray! Here are a couple of photos. The new baby will just go in here. Or realistically, in our room for a while and then in here. I think we'll just put up a tent for G in the yard (j/k):

And I bought that glider on CL and recovered it. And there are now monster knobs on the dresser.

BF and I really like coral and sand colored neutrals for either a boy or a girl. I would assume coral more for a girl, but I'm okay with it for either.

No themes. Just nice soft colors, and we are making giant puffy clouds and hanging them in the one corner of the room

i didn't realize grey and yellow is so on trend right now. we are doing those colors too. i just picked up a paint sample today but i'm concerned it is too light. might try a little darker.

When I say HP, I don't mean I"m going to have character sheets and shit everywhere. We're doing something along these lines - gray and white stripes, with orange accents. We'll be doing dark furniture instead of white. I've done a base coat of paint, and need to do another this weekend. Plan on tackling the stripe portion the following weekend.

aegis - That rooms looks so nice, but it seems too impractical for me.

I was thinking grey and a color or two, but I think most of the color will come from other decorations. I don't have a theme in mind, just things we find that we like. I am thinking planning a nursery is going to be a huge project for H and I. We are just not good at that sort of thing.

Baby will be in our room with us for probably six months, and by then, it will be June. So we'll be doing our decorating in the spring. But I am already planning on doing a pirate theme!

Your orange/blue one at the bottom of your picture list is in my top 2 favorites on pinterest right now:) DH just wants to make the blue darker so it can be a Bears room too. Not happening:)

Haa. H is a diehard Bears and Illini fan. If we weren't renters and stuck with a yellow room, I fully believe that we would be doing the room in orange and blue.
