i didn't notice them at first, i don't think it bothers me enough-- if you want to make the board ad-free, you can make a donation at the bottom of the page. it's $7 per 50,000 clicks, which according to the admin, is approx 2-3 days. it's a community effort!

one banner ad at top and bottom doesn't bother me...as long as they remain nice ones like the Zulily I'm seeing and not those trashy flash-flash-epileptic-causing flashing dancing craziness

I don't think I noticed them until I read this post . The amount of space used on ads is pretty low, I'm fine with it.

Wait, I don't understand. I donate $7, and the ads go away for everyone -- not just me -- for 50,000 page views? And it takes 2-3 days to have that many views?

Maybe we should see about getting some Nestie-friendly vendor to sponsor all the GBCN boards .
