Ok so....vitazing is supposed to be like a tinted moisturizer? Today I used my benefit TM under that BB cream, and I really like it. I need to go read that other vitazing thread.
Its sort of in the TM/BB cream category since it has SPF, moisturizer, but only one shade fits all. It comes out light orangey-grey and then blends in to your skin tone.
I have to make sure I blend it out so it doesn't leave an orange streak. And use as little as possible to cover my face, so there aren't any "thick" parts that may discolor.
Vitazing only works for me in the spring/summer/fall ("warm" seasons here). In the winter, I'm too pale, and it looks off. If y'all haven't had much sun yet, you may find it looks better in a few weeks.
Once it's blended out, it looks so nice. I wore it alone today (with a little powder to set).
I am "dark" enough (I'm a medium beige with warm-to-neutral undertones) to wear it year round under makeup but I got tan this weekend and I am wearing it alone under powder today and it looks good.

I got it over the weekend as well and tried it out today for the first time. We'll see how my makeup still looks at 5 PM but I'm hoping that I'll be able to return the other primer I got and just use this since I liked how everything looked this morning.
I was all set to buy some with a Sephora gift card I got for Mother's Day, but the use of the word "orangey" in this thread is making me nervous. I am really, really fair. I always use whatever the lightest shade of foundation or power is, and sometimes that is too dark. Should I skip Vitazing and try something else instead?

Do you pick up any color during the summer? I'm also fair (within the bottom 1-2 shades in any foundation), and vitazing works well for me in the summer/warm weather months when I'm slightly less pale. It doesn't look bad during the winter, but it looks "off" in a way I can't really describe.
If you've got a Macy's, Dillard's, or Sephora that carries Origins, I'd ask one of them to make you a sample to try it out first. When it works, it's fab. I wore it today, and I was able to skip tinted moisturizer. It doesn't really provide coverage, but it somehow evens out my skin & gives me a "just vacationed" glow.
I don't think I really pick up any color during the summer. I work inside, and I am covered in sunscreen all the time. It is warm where I live at least 9 months a year, so if I was going to get any color, I think I would have it by now.
I can get to a Sephora or Origins counter pretty easily, though. I'll get a sample before buying. Thanks!
I didn't think that she took the time to make perfect thick stripes on herself, but it makes it hard to tell. And is also kind of a funny pic to use when asking someone if you look orange. That's all.
I just started using this. I am very pale and it doesn't look orange on me. It blends in very well and did a good job of evening out my skin tone - I haven't had to wear foundation when using it!
