How do you apply butt cream? I used to use a Swissper to apply it after baths, but then I accidentally bought organic Swisspers. They're crap and fall apart on contact. So I've been bare-handing it but I hate the way that the butt cream feels on my hand and then I'm not brave enough to get it right where it matters.

I only put it on after a bath, and I use my finger. I usually just do a general swipe, and luckily we haven't had any rash yet. I HATE if paste gets in my fingernail. . . ick.

I use my finger. It does annoy me that it gets under my fingernail, but that's better than seeing his poor butt red...I make sure to wipe him well first though!

Coconut oil. Good call, Mack. I love the smell of coconut oil. I've been going back and forth between Burt's Bees and Weleda. They're both nice. I think that I'll try the coconut oil next time.

It works really well. She had a really bad diaper rash over the weekend and it cleared it right up!
I only use cream/oil if he has an issue, which is pretty rare. Then I use my hand. But back to "laziest mom ever" patented parenting style, he only gets anything every few weeks for a couple changes.

Yeah I've never used cream unless there's an issue. We have been told by the couple pedis we've used there's no reason to. And we use A&D or some kind of barrier cream. I use my finger to apply. I don't know what a Swissper is

We use some stuff we get at the pharmacy that the make there. It works better than any other stuff I've used. I usually only use it in the morning if he's had a super soaked diaper overnight. He sttn 10 to 11 hrs, so if he pees with can be pretty wet diaper. If it's not super wet I usually don't bother. I usually do it as a proactive step, he's never really had bad diaper rash, just a little red now and then. I also just use my fingers.
