WTF do 1-yr-olds eat? One of my CW's is pregnant, and we're setting up a schedule to bring her meals once she has the baby. It's her, her DH, 6-yr old twins, a 1-yr old, and the newborn. What do 1-yr olds eat? Do I have to bring baby food or something for it? Or do they eat real food? HALP!

It really depends on the 1 year old. My granddaughter is just over 1 and can eat everything that we eat (minus the allergy triggers) we just cut it up for her. Some children don't have teeth yet and they are still eating the baby foods. I would ask if the child is eating table foods yet? Then you can go from there.
Pretty much anything that everyone else eats, within reason. I think things like bananas, apple slices, strawberries, sliced grapes, raisins are good munchie type food. I also gave DS things like string cheese or Ritz crackers that he could chomp on.
There's not a ton that I would stay away from. Like if you make a lasagna or pasta the one YO will totally be into that, I'm sure.
It just depends really. If the kiddo has teeth, a little bit harder things, but for the most part. When my kiddo was one, she ate bananas, apples, cut up grapes, blueberries, kiwi, strawberries. Chicken and turkey, some ground beef. Broccoli, corn...she loved corn, sweet potatoes, avocado sliced up.
Then she snacked on Gerber puffs and yogurt melts...I loved those too, actually.

When my kids were that age they mostly ate whatever we ate. I think your probably safe with most casserole type dishes or baked mac n cheese, lasagna or spaghetti, etc.
