I've never been. I'm going there today because we have Kohls cash from buying our carseat. I'm thinking either new toys for Amelia or starting to pick up gifts for family for the holidays. I looked online a little but I'm just wondering, what do you think of when you think of Kohls? Like Target I think cute dresses, sunglasses and picture frames. Homegoods=storage supplies and linens. TJMaxx = purses and Calvin Klein baby clothes. And so on and so forth.
I've always felt they're overpriced, but everything seems to always be on sale for "40% off" so it's about average price.
I've only been to Kohl's once since moving down here, because it's a lot further from our house than when we lived in MA, but I've been known to pick up shower curtains, dishes, random jewlery, toys for the nieces/nephews/shoes/etc there ...
I have gotten cruise/party dresses there in the past. I've also gotten work clothes and shoes...they have lots of shoes, I like shoes, lol. I usually go when I have a coupon.
Ooh I like shoes too. I need something close toed and casual for the fall and to cover up my lack of polished toes. I really really want a pair of Sperrys but I can't bring myself to spend $75 on them when I've been wearing $10 flips for the last year and a half.
I really like kohls, although I always forget to shop there. My MIL always gets awesome deals. For instance, she got a keurig for $20 after all her coupons & such.

I have a family member who finds the cutest clothes at Kohl's, but I don't have the same luck. They have a good bra selection. I've bought some cute stuff there for Quinn in the past. They also have nice home type stuff and some cute shoes.
I like the kids clothes. They always run them on sale and the Jumping Beans brand is pretty cute. I only buy their clothes when they are on clearance. We often by Christmas gifts there because they sometimes run some good sales around that time and you can get Khol's cash often times.
So Kohls is an awesome Christmas shopping store, there is something for everyone.
I had never been but last month we heard of a good deal so we got our carseat there. They price matched Sears, then it was on sale, and for buying it there we earned $40 Kohls cash. Today when I was spending my Kohls cash a woman gave me her 30% coupon because she liked Amelia so I did pretty good again.
I'm super excited about Amelia's Violet toy but I'm going to wait until her birthday to break it out. And I got a fun bath towel for the girl, and some seasonal towels and a gift for a certain upcoming behbeh. Totaled $60 before coupon. I spent $13. Savings $85 (counting my Kohls cash but still. Fun:). I will be heading back there before Christmas Eve this year.
ETA -I fixed stuff bc I'm on my phone and supah tired.
I like Kohl's ok, to me it's the same thing as Bealle's or however you spell that store's name!
I don't know this Bealls store either. Isn't that the store that turned into Macy's? No that was Burdines. I've never been in a Steinmart either. I always thought they were all the same and never go in them. But I still have impressions of them.
To me Bealls = ghetto, because its that store with the clearance stores with the color coded dots. No thanks. Maybe the real Bealls is ok?
Steinmart = fish shirts for father in law
Burdines = Tervis tumblers
Kohls = prior to yesterday I had no idea but now I think Christmas gift heaven because there were sneakers for BIL, nightgowns for mom, coffee and kitchen accessories for sister, good toys and clothes for my monkey, and I can always find something for my niece anywhere. My 16 year old nephew is the difficult one. I guess I'm going to get him a Zoom Groupon. He's been wanting to get it done.
I love Kohl's! I go when I have a 30% off coupon, sometimes combined with Kohl's cash. I get pretty much everything I buy on sale or clearance, so I save a ton of money. They always have "discounts" on things, but I go for the super discounted things, plus use a coupon on top of it. I have a Kohl's card too. I love that place!

I'm going to get a Kohls card when I do my major Christmas trip. I need to get a good organized game plan first.

You made out like a bandit, Sara. I like Kohls but like Aegis said, I think they mark everything up so they can have 40% off this and 30% off that. I ain't no fool! lol. I don't go often though because every-time I do, it is sooo busy. I will say it is convenient since they have a little bit of everything there- shoes, clothes, kitchenware, housegoods, toys, makeup, jewelry, etc.
