Hi ladies! Just wondering how long it took for AF to return after you went off of BCP. I'm on day 31 with no sign of AF. The last time I went off the pill (about 10 years ago), AF returned right on schedule so I hoped history would repeat itself.
Mine came on day 32, so I was basically about where you are right now. Second cycle was 28 days. Some gals have said as long as 40+ cycle 1! I hope you get yours soon...unless you were TTC this month?? I forget, are you TTA first?
I'm on day 38 and still no sign of AF. I think I may have ovulated last weekend though (temps and cervical fluid support this), so I'm expecting things to move along soon!

After I quit bcp, I actually never got my period back. I went 74 days. I was POASing once a week, nothing nothing nothing, then on day 74 I got a BFP. I lost that pregnancy. After that, I went on to not get my period AGAIN. That time, I went to the doc and was perscribed progesterone to kick start things. Which worked, thankfully.
Not trying to scare you, I promise! Things can just be really effed after bcp.

Wowsers Blindy I'd have gone insane! That is infuriating! Did you have symptoms of low progesterone besides the lack of a period?

No symptoms that I noticed or remember. It definitely was frustrating. I mean, I quit bcp because we were ready to ttc, and it just kept getting soooo draaaawn oooout. Especially with the pregnancy loss (ectopic) in the middle of it. My doc wanted me to have three regular periods before ttc again, so waiting sixty freakin days for the first one to arrive, then wait two more cycles after that... Ugh.
But on the bright side, after that one progesterone rx, I got those three periods just fine, ovulated during each of the cycles, so yeah. Kinda seems like waiting is the name of the (ttc) game, huh?
My cycles are typically long (about 35-42 days is my norm without external influence) so if I get AF before 45 days this cycle, I'll be happy. I'm on my fisrt cycle after nuvaring and am on day 19 of my cycle.
It is typical for cycles to be wonky for the first few months after bcp.

My first two cycles were both 41 days long. Hoping they will go back to 35 days (pre BCP) at some point, but for now I am just glad I am getting my period and seem to be regular even if they are on the longer side.
