I'm thankful that even when C and I are facing a challenging situation, we are able to figure it out as a team (it may take 3 minutes or 3 hours, but still).
I'm thankful that I'm working my PT job and have client inquiries.
I'm thankful that it's fall and I'm enjoying the weather.

I am thankful for therapists who are completely honest.

I am thankful for the director of our foster agency who takes the time to listen and offer advice.

I am thankful that my wife wasn't part of the mess at work and still has a job, maybe even promoted.

I am thankful to be the celebrating Apple's first birthday with her.

I am thankful that even though my heart breaks constantly during this process with the girls, the joy of them is so overwhelming that it makes up for the heartbreak.

I'm thankful for the great visit today with Baby S's case worker. She said she's going to push for permanence at 6 months instead of 15. If that happens... we would be VERY likely to adopt this little angel before his 1st birthday. I can't even fathom the awesomeness of that happening!

Awww...MK...that would be so awesome! How exciting!

I am thankful to have one of the sweetest kids I know. I have seen/heard about some behaviors from some of the kids she knows at school and thought :-| how do parents allow their kids to be so disrespectful?

I am thankful that A is going to have this weekend off of work and aside from meeting some friends for dinner Saturday night, we are going to spend the rest of the weekend just relaxing together.
