Sorry to keep beating a dead horse here, but this online dating shit is new to me and I CANNOT get over the amount of married men contacting me on a DAILY fucking basis!! This one douchebag winked at me and he was brand new.. so I thought... okay, no pic, but he's knew, maybe he didn't get to upload a pic yet... so I said "where's your pic..you are single, right?" And of course...he's in fact not single....shocker! But he (like all of these cheaters) find nothing wrong with him "looking for platonic friends" on a dating site. This online dating clearly is not for me as I already have trust issues.. and this reality hitting me in the face every dam day is certainly NOT helping. Thank god I have therapy tonight...

So, whichever one of you said to me last wk to steer clear of any profile with no pic... you are 1,000% right! It's safe to say they're attached and just looking for a side piece... my question is.. are there THAT many women willing to be w/ married men?? WTF?

Lets get a list together of what I and others steer clear of:
-profiles with no pic
-profiles with no info filled out (basic info, etc)
-Profiles with shirtless pics
-profiles with pics of their car/motorcycle/etc
-Profiles where they talk about sex (in any way/shape/form)
-Profiles that just are looking to: hook up, just be friends, nothing serious, etc
-profiles with pics of their exes on them (not blocked/shaded out)

I am sure there is a lot more I am forgetting, but that will do for now.
AND now I need a :drink:

Never heard of that one. I am on OkCupid, PLenty of fish and Match. I dont encounter married men hardly at all (that I am aware of)

I have never heard of that site. Try match.com, I would definitely say that has the fewest married men by far. Even POF and OKCupid don't have too many married men, I would say maybe 1-2%? I have definitely been contacted by some married guys on POF and OKC

Definitely try more reputable sites. I have a friend who does some random site (lava life or Zoosk?) and it seems to contain mostly pond scum like that. I get what you're saying though, I was single for 3 years and in that time all the dishonesty I witnessed and encountered really made me leery of men. The trust thing has really been an issue for me in my last couple of relationships.

I always got the feeling that Skout was a little.. skeezy. That could just be my impression of it, tho.

Try OkCupid, it's free and I've only had 1 married guy hit on me. He didn't say he was married, mind you. His wife did tho, when she messaged me to ask if him and I ever met face to face (we hadn't, I felt a weird vibe from him so after two or three messages, I stopped responding).
