I can't believe it's here. He has a lot of stuff. I know he is getting a rocking horse, & musical instrument set, some duplos. He has a leapfrog table.

Books, I love getting books for kids.

it is completely CRAZY that you've had him for nearly a year already. crazy crazy crazy.

i'm no help on gifts, we didn't give 1st (or 2cd) bday gifts (well, the party was their gift).

I don't think I bought DD anything for her 1st bday because I knew family was going to. I think if anything I bought her some clothes she needed and some books.

I say book. There are never enough books around for DD.

If you are looking for some new toys, the laugh and learn playhouse was a HUGE hit for a long time with my guys. they got it on their first birthday and played with it till well after 2y.



But of course books and puzzles (love the Melissa and Dog chunky puzzles) are great too!

I agree with books. If you wanted to make it a bigger deal, you could give him 18 books; 1 for every year of his youth! I think it would be a blast to think about what he might be interested in at 4, 10, 16, etc. and the girls could have fun helping you pick those out.
