So, Beyond the Rack apparently has a bunch of halfwits in their customer service department. They had a promotion for which, if you placed an order between May 11-20, any other orders you placed through May 21 would have free shipping. I placed an order on May 11 when the promotion began. I was going to place another order, but the shipping fee was showing up in my shopping cart when shipping should have been free. I contacted the customer service department and explained the situation. I got 4 responses as follows: 1. You must use the same account as on your original order (I did, and I explained that) 2. When you place your original order, you will get a different banner on the site that you are now eligible for free shipping (This did not happen. I understand how the promotion should work. I'm saying it doesn't work that way for me!) 3. Same as #3 4. Shipping is free only after you place an initial order (err, didn't I already tell you that three times?)
Congratulations, you just lost a customer due to your completely obtuse and unhelpful customer service reps!
