I think it's time we stop talking about it, and actually GET one. H knows he most likely suffers from SADD. While it may be a little struggle to get him to USE it, at least having one in the house gets a better chance for it.
Does anyone have one? How do you like it, when do you fit it in your schedule to use? Do you have a brand/type you'd recommend?
I'm sure it's most beneficial in the morning, but if you don't have time, is it just as good to use when you get home from work? I know I won't be able to get H to use it while at work. (He works in the office of a warehouse and already feels insecure enough for being more metro than the blue-collar guys in the back.)
I don't use one, but here are some things he could try, if he doesn't already. - Take more vitamin D (I take a multivitamin plus 2000iu of it every day) - Put a full-spectrum light bulb (not a therapy lamp) in his office (you can get them most places) - Get more exercise
ETA: I just wanted to add that SADD is no joke. It's awful and depending on how bad you have it, it can be absolutely debilitating. If I don't keep up with it, I literally spend weeks in bed. I hope you're able to get your H to see how serious this is. ((HUGS))
Hallows, thanks for the info. I will encourage him to add Vit-D back into his routine and also suggest he join that gym the thought about doing earlier in the year (but then decided to wait for me so ended up not doing it).
