I don't post much any more.. we had another baby! Yay.
Any way, H got recruiting orders. After he completes school, we're moving from Japan to where ever they may send us. Since we won't be moving to a base, how will we handle things while we wait to have a house and get our stuff? Has any one had experience with this before? There won't be any TLF or loaner furniture... I'm sure we'll get more info closer to time, but I'm kind of stressing about that!
You will be "geographically separated" from the closest military base. That base will essentially be your "servicing base" for the time that you are doing the recruiting job. I'm not sure about TLF or loaner furniture. I guess it depends on how close your nearest base is. If it's close, then you could stay in their TLF and use their loaner stuff. If not, you may still be able to get loaner furniture, and I imagine that your hotel costs will be reimbursable for that time period.
Regardless, your husband should still be assigned a sponsor at his new recruiting office, and they should be able to help him with any questions they have and specifics for their unit and servicing base:-)
