Yesterday I won a brand-new-still-in-the-box Baby Jogger City Mini stroller. It's a $250 stroller. So of course this has me thinking about whether I need it or if I can sell it for a few bucks.
I currently have a Jeep Stoller that I like but we rarely use. I use it mostly if we take the dogs for a walk, but now Jelly Bean likes holding the leash and is capable of walking or older dog. We also have a Baby Jogger City Micro. It's the smaller version of the Mini, which they actually stopped making. I was too cheap to buy the Mini and the Micro was (and still is) perfect for us.
So, should I sell the Jeep Stoller and keep the Mini?
**IF** we have a second child, will I want a the City Mini Double? So should I sell the Mini and put the money in JB's savings in case we ever need a Double? Do I not need a double with two kids that would be at least 3 years apart? Particuarly if one will likely be worn.

If you're happy with what you have, I'd say sell the new one for as much as you can get and save the money! **IF** you have a second, plan to wear the new baby and reassess about a double in the future!
I agree with Joy. By the time you have another child (if you have another) you won't need a double (well, unless you are already pregnant....) I think the only time we used a stroller after 3y was when we walked in the Pride parade (3 miles) at age 4y.
Yeah, I'd sell it. That is a huge score, and you could probably do many other things with that kind of money. Did it come from a local store, by any chance? I'm wondering if you could legitimately return it and get the full amount in store credit...

It was from Buy Buy Baby. I thought about trying to return it, but I think I would rather have $200 cash then $250 store credit.

Oh. Definitely not as helpful as credit to a big box store. But could one sell a $250 gift card for $225? Hmmm...

I say sell the new one. I recently won a baby sling (Sakura Bloom silk... $180 retail), and I just sold it for $150. I loved it, but I already have a sling and our babywearing days are very numbered at this point. The extra money is great, and I like knowing that someone else is really going to appreciate it.
