We used Target diapers for DS1 from when he was 2 until he was PT'd at ~3. I remember thinking they were of good quality for a good price.
I grabbed some for DS2 and was really surprised at how thin and plasticky they were - not at all what I remember. Have they changed, or am I spoiled from previously using Pampers Sensitive (my preferred diaper for newborns)?
Side note - what diapers do you use? DS2 is 6 weeks and in size 2s already so we've gone through our pre-baby stash and I need to buy more.

I once had a BAD box of diapers that totally leaked and were just terrible...so maybe its a bad box. My DD has been potty trained for about 3 months so I can't say if they have changed in that timeframe, but I sure hope not. I have been planning on using them for my DS.

I don't know, I agree with you though. We used Target brand about a year ago when we went out of town and were visiting family (no Target in our town). Then we moved, have a Target nearby, and I picked up a box a couple months ago. I was totally unimpressed and disappointed with them as opposed to what I remembered from a year ago. I switched back to Huggies, no question. I prefer their "Little Movers" line (Winnie the Pooh design) but their "snug and dry" line (Mickey Mouse design) works just as well for us.

We use the Target and have had no problems. I admit they are not as soft as Pampers, but they do what they need to do so we're happy. Huggies do not work for DS.

The last pack of target training diapers I bought had changed drastically from the bag before. It wasn't just a bad batch, they had completely redone the design. They no longer had Velcro closures on the sides and the texture was different. It is quiet possible that the regular diapers have changed as well.
The target ones didn't work for my son at all. He leaked through them all the time. We use pampers swaddlers right now. I tried out the Huggues Little Snugglers, but they didn't seem to fit him right.
I used to really like them even though they ran smaller than Huggies/Costco, but they redesigned them and I no longer do. Oddly the new pack I got in Seattle was slightly different than the pack I got in Minneapolis. So now we stick with Costco or Huggies only when we use disposables. I like Costco and zhuggies Little Movers, though I liked both of those better before they were redesigned too.

We have tried a bunch of kinds of diapers that people bought for us. Surprisingly, the ones from Dollar General are my favorite! They are $6 a pack, and not as nice as Pampers Swaddlers, but just as effective. We didn't like BJs or Huggies Snug n Dry. Haven't tried Target yet, but we have a box of size 3 we'll get to eventually.
We use and like them, and I haven't noticed any changes. But my kid is in size 4s. I have never used the 1s and 2s in Target diapers, and it seems like sometimes size matters.

We use Luvs. I used to use the Target brand, but found that Luvs worked even better and were cheaper back in the days of Amazon Mom. Luvs cost marginally more now, but I love having diapers delivered to my door.
I'm potty training DS, and bought some Target training pants. Those definitely are inferior to the Luvs. I don't know if they've been redesigned as well.

I used Pampers and Huggies for DS1 but have used Up & Up almost exclusively for DS2 (he'll be 2 in August). They are not like Pampers. But, they work just fine for us.
