when did you have your first u/s?

I just called to schedule my first appointment and was bummed out to hear that they won't do an u/s until 12 weeks. Does that seem really late to anyone else? I don't want to tell anyone about the pregnancy until we've heard a heartbeat, but the thought of waiting until December 17 is killing me.

7 ish weeks to date the pregnancy. I knew I ovulated later than they predicted.

My first "appointment" is really a class, and isn't for another 4 weeks (I'll be 8 weeks by then). No clue when the first u/s will be, but I hope not too long after that. I'd love to hear a heartbeat before Christmas.

Had a dating u/s at 8 weeks and opted out of 12 week NT scan but the doctor had doppler machine in office to hear heartbeat at my last appt (around 13 weeks). I didn't hear heartbeat until that 13 week appt as the dating u/s just showed video of the heart beating. I will have the full a/s around 20 weeks hopefully right before Thanksgiving!

Mine was at 11 weeks.

Last time I had a dating ultrasound around 6 weeks. I didn't get that this time so my first one will be at my first trimester screening at 12w5d.

I did hear the heartbeat at my last appointment though which was a great relief!

My RE did one at 7 weeks and another at 9 due to bleeding. My OB did one at 10 weeks and then 12 weeks (NT scan).

I had my first u/s at 8w4d, but my doctors based it off of LMP and thought I was 9w2d. I had my NT scan at 10w6d.

You could buy a Doppler. I heard LO on my Doppler the day before my first u/s

I had my first one at 6w4d (because I thought I was 8w... I ovulated late). Then I had my "official" one at 8w.

I was seeing an RE so we had one at 5.5 weeks, 6.5 weeks, 9 weeks, and 11 weeks,

After my RE released me to my OB I had one at 12 weeks, 13 weeks for our NT scan, and another at 20 weeks.

I'm considered high-risk (prior m/c), so I had one at 8 weeks. I'll also have one at 12 wks and 20 week A/S. Otherwise, my dr is so stingy! My first pg I only had the A/S at 20 weeks.

I did IVF so I had one at 6 weeks and will have another at 7 and 8. I won't have any with my OB until the NT scan I think.
