That is so funny. You'll have to hold it against her for the rest of her life.
V hasn't made any "d" sounds yet. She constantly says, "mommamoma". I have no idea what her real first word will be, though. Probably neither mom or dad.

I doubt my daughter will say her first word by the 5th. He is a big talker. The only time my son isn't talking, is when he's asleep- and then he's snoring.

I only remember "wow" because it's not a normal word. I've barely put anything in my son's baby book, and I have written about 2 things in my daughter's. I fail at recording memories.

I was just thinking the other day that I don't remember DD's first word, but I do remember us arguing over which one was her first 'official' word. She signed as well so I think that's why I am confused. Or I'm just a bad mom.
My youngest son's first word was Bob as is Sponge Bob. It was quickly followed by chip. I had to wait until he was almost 3 to hear "mom". I laugh about it now but that's where I ranked....Sponge Bob and chips were a higher priority

That made me laugh. I'm sure something similar will happen with my daughter.
You don't have it written down in her baby book?! Just kidding. I am a terrible mother and have not been recording milestones.
Oh lord. I haven't either. The other day I tried to jot some things down in case I wanted to write some text in his first year photobook, but I failed. At both memory and executing.
