Are you going to do class with me next week?
I tried the Kirkland crossfit gym. I'm switching to it in November. They do more mobility/stretching work than my current crossfit gym, which is good for me in some ways, but I like the intensity of my current one better. The convience of it being so close to my house one out. Plus it is cheaper ;D
I'm planning on it! I was hesitant to sign up right at first just from not knowing what my wrist would be doing by then. But, in the 2 weeks I've done of PT, it's leaps and bounds better. I'll call over to the club tonight to sign up.
I'm glad the new CF gym is a good fit! I looked it up and I actually took class with those guys several years ago, before they opened their first box. They know their stuff. And they're firefighters. Some of them were pretty hot
Funny how many crossfit gyms are run by firefighters. I just bought a living social deal for a cf gym in Kent/Renton that is run by firefighters.
I think it is really cool. It really gives the gym a sence of community which I really like. I also really like that they give discounts to police/firefighters. I think some do to military families too. The one I go to in Issaquah is run by an ex Marine.
Yup, CF is focused on "practical strength" - workouts that strengthen the muscles you use doing everyday tasks. It's pretty common as a fitness regimen for firefighters. Doesn't hurt to have a cute firefighter to motivate you to get through your workout!

who says you can only wear your wedding dress once?
hold up. wait a minute. firefighters teach these classes? sign me up.
Some of them. If there isn't a cute instructor teaching it there is almost always a couple cuties in the class. It makes for great eye candy. I'm getting all excited just thinking about it. lol.

tell me more. are there weekend classes? where? how much? There are week end classes, but usually only Saturday mornings at most gyms. The weekend work outs are usually special ones, like team based.
Membership is based on the gym. Some have drop in rates (like the one I am switching to has a punch card for $10 per sessions for ten sessions). Some don't. It's not cheap. Kirkland Crossfit is $145 dollars a month for unlimited sessions, you get a discount if you prepay.
I'm sure if you google crossfit (where Jennlin lives) you will see a few gyms. I know there is one in Bothell.
On another note, any reputable crossfit gym will require attending a fundamentals class before you start too. It's serious business, since it is so easy to get injured. How fundamentals is structured is also based on the gym. The one I attended was eight hour long sessions stretched over two weeks.
It's a lot of work just to see hot guys, but you will also start looking hot if you go on a regular basis.

I noticed. I saw it in theaters. It's good for eye candy, not much else though.
