I have decided that this weekend I am going to have my first dirty martini. I want it to be a good one. What kind of Vodka do you recommend?

That was Belvedere. I used to buy Belvedere, but won't after seeing that ad.

I have to disagree with Grey Goose. I think that it is way overrated. Here are my favorites in order: Belvedere > Russian Standard > Ketel One. Do not under any circumstances buy Absolut. I highly recommend trying either Belvedere or Russian Standard. :drink:

That sucks. I didn't know about that ad. You should get Russian Standard. Russians know their vodka. If your liquor store doesn't have that, get Ketel One.

TBH, I've never had 3 Olives. I'll have to try it the next time I go out for Bloody Marys. If it sucks, you owe me.

My favorite vodka ever is Imperia. SO good.

Trader Joe's used to sell it for $10 when it was $40 at bevmo. Of coure they don't have it anymore.

I became an expert on vodka after surviving 2 weeks in Siberia. I drank vodka almost everyday. Straight. It was the only way to not cry myself to sleep out of misery and not be completely disgusted by the food and bathroom (outhouses) accommodations.

I am going to go for top shelf. I figure since a dirty martini is straight vodka with some olive juice, it needs to be really good vodka.
