I was not in the mood to workout last night but I convinced myself to ride the exercise bike for a while. And since I felt guilty about skipping my workout Mon & Tues, I did double to at least make up for some of it.
I have only had 1 day in the past maybe week and a half where I have been diligent about eating. I really want to have a good day today! And I am going to workout as soon as I get home.
I have to be good with my eating today, as I don't have time to exercise tonight. Instead, I get to take DS1 (who is 4 and LOVES trains) to our town's Model Railroader's Club meeting tonight. It's our first time going and he is SO excited. This will be worth not exercising for
I did an hour-long Zumba class followed by an hour-long ballet class. And I ate decently today too! I am now soaking in a hot bath of Epsom salts because I can already feel most of the muscles in my body locking up lol. A girlfriend of mine does this every Monday and Thursday - I think she's lost ~15 lbs since the end of August. I've got no excuse not to go when I know someone there who's lots of fun.
Tarheels, I love Zumba! I used to take a class every Monday night, mostly to supplement my existing fitness program, and because I went with some friends. Now I've moved, and there aren't really any classes near me that fit into my schedule (who can do Zumba at 11am on a Tuesday? not this girl....) so I ended up buying Zumba for the Wii:-) Very fun, and I don't feel as self-conscious about shaking my booty in the living room.
Glad to hear that zumba for the Wii is fun! I've been thinking about that one for a while! I'm obsessed with the Just Dance series already. lol
I wasn't so good yesterday, but I finally got up the guts to weigh myself after a solid 6 weeks not working out, and surprisingly, I'm only up half a pound!! I'm really happy about that. I think I'm finally ready to get out of this funk, make some goals, and get to work!
