Do you prefer $5 to Panera or Starbucks

I'm going to get DS's preschool teachers an end of the year gift today but can only spend $5 on each. I feel like $5 to Target is a tease, so what would you prefer - Starbucks or Panera? I realize you can't buy a lunch at Panera with this, but you could get breakfast.

I also had him do hand print "flowers" to put in the card.

I don't drink coffee and there are no nearby Starbucks so I'd prefer Panera.

Starbucks. Anything I would buy at Panera would be more than $5. At Starbucks, I'll buy only a drink, but at Panera I'd want food and a coffee.

This. I can't think of anything I'd want at Panera that would cost less than $5. I hate getting gc's that actually cost me money to use.

Well I would choose neither since we don't have either nearby, but if I had to choose I would choose Starbucks. Ideally I would go with Target.

For $5 I would prefer Starbucks so I wouldn't have to add money, but otherwise Panera.

I always get $5 to Duncan Donuts for the aides and directors at daycare... it's common around here, and not as expensive as Starbucks- so it gets a lot more.

I do $20 to target for the regular teachers.... but yeah- 5 for target is just a thing to make them have to spend more.

I don't drink coffee, so I voted Panera. However, I agree with those that said you can't actually buy food at Panera for $5. So I would either increase it to $10, or find another option.

Starbucks serves things other than coffee, people. Tea, lemonade, pastries, mugs, newspapers, CDs, etc.

People that don't drink coffee must avoid Starbucks on principle. And never go out with people that DO drink coffee.

I'm not sure I can be friends with non-coffee drinkers. I kind of feel more strongly about coffee than religion.

I'd say whatever is popular in your area. Amazingly there are not a lot of Starbucks in my area. While I love coffee, I kind of feel like SBs is overrated. I voted Panera (but we call it St Louis Bread Company). I like their bagels.
