MH's O board results came back today. They didn't select any nurses, only line O's (guessing because of the new aircraft carriers are being built). We were really hoping that he would get selected so he could finish his degree and he would have been going to school on the east coast which would have been a nice move for both of us career wise. I'm tired of being separated but, with the job I have now, MH doesn't want me to move back out to 29 unless we think I have the potential to find a job fairly quickly. This is getting really exhausting.
I guess the program he went through (don't ask me what it's called because I kept thinking it was MCEPS) selects enlisted personnel to be line O's and nurse O's through the same board.

Oh, this is an officer selection board. Sorry, thought it was a promotion board. Carry on. That sucks.
My minimal understanding of how it works in the AF is that you specifically apply to the nurse transition program. Acceptance to it basically guarantees your future commission as a nurse, assuming you properly complete the program.
