I came to work without a bra - and didn't notice until lunch time, so yeah, I had pregnancy brain.
But I think if we got worked up everytime a sitcom didn't depict pregnancy correctly, we really wouldn't have much to watch. They did it for the laughs, NBD.

Actually, I got really annoyed when people mentioned stuff like this on the bump. I think it makes women sound like we are delicate flowers who are unfit for anything (careers, the president, etc). It irks me. I never had a mood swing, never had pregnancy brain, never broke down crying, etc.

I had a problem keeping my train of thought. I would talk, muttle my words, have to stop and think. I would repeat myself and use just plain wrong words. I would foget things.
My H asked me at least five times if I would get my brain back after the baby was born.
I know it was for the laughs and that would not have bothered me except that they were trying to decide where to live and whether to get a house and the conclusion was that they couldn't make any big decisions until she got her brain back. I was mildly offended, not like I'm writing in to CBS or anything though.
Sorry, that probably came across snarkier then I meant it too. I just meant that I don't think they are shooting for accurate.
I had "pregnancy brain" to a certain extent. I would always have to proofread my emails because I found myself using the wrong words (ex: there/their/they're).
The part with trying to speak has certainly been the case with me. Dh jokes that I shouldn't go out in public without him to translate for me
ETA: I do remember being a bit annoyed by the extent of her pg brain in that episode. I've also been mildly irritated that her bump at 4ish months was the same size as 9months.

I didn't while I was pregnant, but now that DD is here, I'm having issues. I have had to get IT to reset my password like twice in the last two days because I keep forgetting it.

Definitely this and I'm doing it more with this pregnancy than with my first. I struggle to come up with the right word for things (like simple, no-brainer kind of things...so frustrating).
I also forget my keys in the door after unlocking it frequently. DH finds them at least a couple times a week when he gets home from work. Good thing we live in a very safe area.
I had some pregnancy ditzy moments that I hadn't experienced before. What I really experienced was "new mom haze" while on maternity leave with my first. I had days where I seriously felt I was losing my mind. I had a hard time keeping a conversation going because I would forget what I was saying, what word I was looking for, etc. I didn't have that problem with my second child, but it was really bad with my first.

That episode of HIMYM pissed me off.
However, I totally had pregnancy brain. I did crazy stuff. I drove away from the gas station with the gas nozzle still in my car. The worst was I was in my driveway (which has a very steep slope into the street), took the parking brake off, put the car in reverse, then remembered I'd forgotten something inside, so I got out of the car to go get it. With my car in gear. On a hill. I came inside sobbing to DH after that one and almost didn't make it in to work that day.
