Anyone here ever used a spray paint for plastic? Rust-o-leum, Krlyon, and Valspar all make one. The online reviews are quite varied. I'm leaning towards Rust-o-leum for reputation purposes.
I want to spray our plastic shutters. The plastic is old and faded. There's no sheen and they a little rough, so I think paint will adhere well. We'll probably buy new shutters eventually, but I think spray paint could buy us a few good years. FWIW, most of our shutters are protected by an overhang.
I used the Rustoleum one to spray paint one of the bathroom fan covers and it covered well and has held up since we used that bathroom during our reno.
I have used them all, and would again, except for Valspar...not impressed.
I used Rustoleum and Krylon around seven years ago on a toy box and on the lid for a rolling cart, and they held up remarkably well. Both saw a lot of use and still looked great the last time I saw them. They were gifts, and I haven't seen them recently, but the giftees were impressed.
