We are going to be moving DD to a big girl bed soon. She's currently in a crib mattress on the floor, but I think we would like to put her in a low-to-ground twin bed before Christmas.
If you have a kiddo in a twin bed, where did you get the mattress? We want to do this cheaply, since we plan to move in a few years and will probably upgrade her to a full-size bed in a new house (our current home has small bedrooms and will only allow for a twin bed). I was thinking IKEA might be a good bet for the price but I know nothing about the quality of their mattresses.
Any advice you can give me on your toddler/preschooler's big kid bed setup would be welcome!
We have an ikea mattress for DS. We needed a thin one for the bunk we also got there so it was easiest to get theirs. It was at least $125, but I think more. I got the pricier of the two that were thin enough.
I don't know how I'm getting that bunk out of his room when we move. The mattress is nice and flexible for getting up the stairs.
We got DD the Ikea Mattress but we opted for the most expensive twin. It's super nice memory foam. DD sleeps great on it. It seemed to even extend her sleeping a little.
