Is 1 night in Macau enough?

I did only a day trip, although I didn't get back until almost midnight. I really loved Macau and did no gambling, but I felt it was worth it to see the island and not have to pack up from my very cheap hostel. I pretty much walked all of Macau in that day and didn't feel like there was anything I missed.

I think one night is enough. I also did a day trip, but I think it would have been fun to have an overnight so that we could check out a few of the casinos (even though I don't gamble, I like to wander around, check out the buildings, and see what's going on).

I think I've dumped my Macau recs on you already, but we did them all in a day. It's not a very big place.

I also did it as a day trip which was plenty of time. Of course you could see more if you spent the night there but we chose to prioritize more time in HK so it just depends on what you prefer.
