The only thing I know for sure is that I'll be going to Panera for dinner tonight with my mom, sister, and neice. And at some point this week I imagine we'll be having leftover manicotti. We're so bad at meal planning, I keep saying that I'm going to do it but then we have a million things to do and it gets pushed to the back burner. Sigh.

I don't really plan or shop ahead of time, I usually see what's in the house and make my meal list on Monday morning as I'm writing the post. I found good deals on meat yesterday so I grabbed a bunch (5 whole chickens, 2 packs of hot italian sausage, 2 packs of sweet turkey sausage, and 2.5lbs of stew meat) and came up with my menu this morning as I wrote the post, I will have to buy things throughout the week to go with the meals but I feel better knowing they are planned and I know what I need to buy.
