How do you want to refinish it? It can't be much harder then removing existing paint, sanding, and re-painting/staining it. Add new hardware, if desired.
It's not too difficult - depending on what kind of finish you're looking to do. Stain can be hard if there's damage under the existing finish. Paint finishes are much easier, and aren't that difficult - I've done it a few times.

To refinish yourself you want to sand down (completely is best, a light sanding/scuff will work) with fine sand paper. Use a brush to paint on an oil-based primer. Use a foam roller to apply latex (water-based) paint.
If you are looking for someone to pay, I can ask my mother. She had someone in Z-hills refinish a bunch of furniture and he did an amazing job. Even rebuilt a part of a pineapple bed that one of our dogs had chewed, you couldn't even tell.
