Mandy, thanks for asking. She is doing okay. The infection was more widespread than the doctor expected. He feels confident that he was able to get everything and said he used larger/stronger internal sutures to keep everything in place. The mesh she had was covered with infection(?) so he did not want to risk anything by trying a bio-mesh. She should be getting out of the hospital today and will have a nurse visit her daily.
