Is it possible to not ovulate and still have a regular cycle every month.
I am very very regular. My cycles since my D&C in June 2011 have always been 29-30 days. Like clockwork. I don't temp because my sleep cycle is so weird it really is impossible but I do OPK's and always get a positve then AF about 14 days later. I also have the other signs of ovulation.
When I went for my annual and talked to my OB she said it was possible. It just seems weird to me.

It is possible, but my obgyn said that if I am having regular cycles, then there is a 95% chance I'm ovulating regularly. So, while possible, if you are as regular as you are, I don't know why your doctor would go to anovulatory immediately. Unless my obgyn is mistaken.

hmmm.... I really want to avoid testing at this point. She mentioned trying to lose about 20lbs and that might make a big difference too. I do agree that I really need to be better about my diet and excersie to lose some weight. But I also wonder if I should push my husband more to get a S/A. He is insistant that it can't be him because we got pregnant once. I don't think he realizes how much easier it is for him to get that simple test then for me to have blood work, ultra sounds and more.

Just because you ovulate, doesn't mean there isn't anything wrong with you. There could be a blockage. I would think that your OB would send you to an RE who would recommend your H have a S/A, but also run some tests on you. It makes sense to check both people to put the best plan in place.

Ugh - I swear you and I have the same problem...
Regular as clock work since FINALLY getting my period back after DD. OB says 'lose 10% of your body weight' (18 lbs at the time). OPK goes + every month - but NO BFP for me . Wondering if there's a blockage or something... I should probably call the OB back (since i'm down >10% of my body weight now).
