In an effort to liven up the board a bit...
Are you dressing up this year? And if so, as what/for what?
Favorite Candy?
Least favorite?
If you buy your favorite kind for trick-or-treaters, is it because you know kids like it, or because you secretly hope no one will show up so you can eat it all? ;D
Does your work let you show up in costume?
All-time Favorite Costume (either yours or someone else's)?

Are you dressing up this year? And if so, as what/for what? - No. I'm not a big costume person.
Favorite Candy? -Reese's peanut butter cups
Least favorite? -anything licorice
If you buy your favorite kind for trick-or-treaters, is it because you know kids like it, or because you secretly hope no one will show up so you can eat it all? ;D - we buy a mixed bag of stuff, but we make sure we like the majority of it. And *may* distribute the stuff we don't like early on.
Does your work let you show up in costume? - they are this year. I'm taking the day off, but I told my husband that if I was coming in, I'd wear jeans, a flannel shirt, a concert t-shirt, and my Chucks and go as an OG Lollapalooza concert-goer. Comfort for the win!
All-time Favorite Costume (either yours or someone else's)? - A friend and I were in Georgetown ages ago, and these two girls were each dressed as halves of the Titanic, complete with mini action figures dangling off the sides. Their friend was dressed as the iceberg. It was hilarious.
We all did today for a moms group party. See it on Facebook (I'm Mitzki Kotszki) Skittles Licorice DH buys the candy, and he buys for him I just know it It did when I worked. They had a contest every year In elementary school, a mom came as Morticia and her daughter (my classmate) was Cousin It. All handmade, and gorgeous.
My husband and I hosted a costume party on Saturday night so I dressed up for that. I was the female Green Lantern (my husband picked it out). I'm not big into candy but I do enjoy a Milky Way or Almond Joy on occasion. I greatly dislike Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chocolate and peanut butter just seem wrong to me. I don't know, but I'm thinking no. I don't know that I have an all time favorite costume I've worn or seen. I'm pretty much your standard costume in a bag kinda gal

I rarely dress up. This year is no exception. I can't choose a favorite! I have a major sweet tooth. I don't like hard candies and a lot of gummy candies. I buy candy I like. I don't want to give out disappointing treats and I'm not upset if there is some left over. I don't know about my current job. A bunch of people dressed up at my last company. I'll have to think about that one. I'm not good at coming up with favorites for anything.
Are you dressing up this year? And if so, as what/for what?Nope, not dressing up this year. Maybe when we have kids will start to do costumes again
Favorite Candy? Reeses peanut butter cups
Least favorite? Hershey's chocolate bar - just not a huge chocolate fan so the though of just solid chocolate isn't too appealing to me.
If you buy your favorite kind for trick-or-treaters, is it because you know kids like it, or because you secretly hope no one will show up so you can eat it all? Secretly hope we will have left overs
Does your work let you show up in costume? Yup, my office would let us as long as we didn't have to go to a meeting.
All-time Favorite Costume (either yours or someone else's)?hmmm, can't think of one in particular but I love well done homemade ones.
Are you dressing up this year? And if so, as what/for what? No, I think this might be the first time ever that I had no occasion to dress up.
Favorite Candy? Anything with chocolate. Caramel or peanut butter are extra credit.
Least favorite? Candy corn +o(
If you buy your favorite kind for trick-or-treaters, is it because you know kids like it, or because you secretly hope no one will show up so you can eat it all? ;D Strangely enough, I try to buy candy that I don't feel strongly about either way, then it ends up being my go-to for the next year when I want a snack. Two years ago I got KitKats, then all I could think about for the next year was KitKats. Last year I got Twix, same thing. This year I bought peanut M&Ms and already I've snuck a few bags and though "wow, these are better than I remembered!"
Does your work let you show up in costume? They had a party on Friday for which costumes are encouraged, but I wasn't in the office for it.
All-time Favorite Costume (either yours or someone else's)? I can't think of any right now.
Are you dressing up this year? And if so, as what/for what? I really wanted to go as 16 and Pregnant, but I think I'm too old for it to be really funny. I'm doing a boring witch instead (black dress, black high boots, lots of black/silver eye makeup, hat.
Favorite Candy? Butterfinger
Least favorite? Almond Joy/Mounds
If you buy your favorite kind for trick-or-treaters, is it because you know kids like it, or because you secretly hope no one will show up so you can eat it all? ;D A little of both. I want to be the house with the awesome candy, but I also don't want to be stuck with a bowl full of crap candy if I don't get a lot of kids.
Does your work let you show up in costume? N/A. I'm student teaching, so I'm technically unemployed! My last job did not allow costumes, though.
All-time Favorite Costume (either yours or someone else's)? I ran a 5K Saturday and a couple was dressed as Mitt Romney and Big Bird. I thought that was creative.
I greatly dislike Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chocolate and peanut butter just seem wrong to me.
I am pretty sure you and I are now in a fight, elfinia. I cannot get behind anyone who doesn't understand the goodness of Reese's. Even if it means more for me.

Are you dressing up this year? And if so, as what/for what? Did not dress up this year, though I did get stuff to be Princess Leia... I just didn't want to be the only parent dressed up. My lil guy was an Ewok
Favorite Candy? Dots, laffy Taffy
Least favorite? Crunch bars
If you buy your favorite kind for trick-or-treaters, is it because you know kids like it, or because you secretly hope no one will show up so you can eat it all? We don't get trick or treaters
Does your work let you show up in costume? Probably could, but I work in the Pru, so that might be kinda silly.
All-time Favorite Costume (either yours or someone else's)? I went as Marge Simpson once.
