Henry decided to be Winnie the Pooh. I made his costume, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. He announced that C would be Eeyore and I would be Kanga - even though we had no prior intentions of dressing up, hahaha. so I made C Eeyore ears and a tail, and for me Kanga ears and a pouch (Henry has a stuffed kangaroo with a Joey in the pouch, so I'm borrowing it to put in mine.
We will do trick or treating on our neighborhood, which Henry is so excited for. We live in a townhouse development and there are always lots kids (a lot of people who don't live here drive in for it).
No adult party for us We havent had one to go to in years.
What are kids dressing up as? Carter is the green ninja from Ninjago (Lloyd) and Grayson is Quidditch Harry Potter.
Are you dressing up? I am not. L dresses up every year to coordinate with the kids. It is getting more and more difficult as they choose different costumes/themes. So, Leanne is Sensei Woo (from Ninjago) visiting professor of the Dark Arts at Hogwarts (I think you have to really know HP to get it. I had no clue what she was talking about.)
Will you trick or treat in your neighborhood? Yep. This is the first year we are TOTing in our hood vs. going with a friend to her hood.
What are kids dressing up as? Jelly Bean is going to be Nemo
Are you dressing up? Nope. I thought about making a shirt that simply said "P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney" but I just never got the time. Bummer.
Will you trick or treat in your neighborhood? Yes, I'll take Nemo to see some of the neighbors. She's one of the only kids in the neighborhood and they love her.
Are you attending a fun adult/only party? No. K wanted to throw a party for adults and kids but I told her she would have to plan the whole thing if she wanted to do that.

What are kids dressing up as? Boy/girl monkeys! They dressed up for their "Character March" at daycare/our work today, and they were so cute (though apparently not really in the mood for it and/or overwhelmed, so I don't have many smiling pictures).
Are you dressing up? Nope. Never do.
Will you trick or treat in your neigborhood? No. As I think you all know , we don't "do" Halloween. Also, ToTing is pretty much over by the time we get home. I am a little curious to see how active our neighborhood is this evening. Maybe I'll take the kids for a walk around the block in their monkey outfits if lots of people are out. (Unless people come in from the surrounding area, I suspect it'll be pretty empty, given that we live in a predominantly Muslim neighborhood.)

What are kids dressing up as? He went to school today as a hockey player; tonight he'll be Darth Vader.
Are you dressing up? No, we were going to try but we didn't want to spend a lot and ran out of time.
Will you trick or treat in your neigborhood? Yes, the neighbors all like to see him in his costumes so we'll just take him up and down our street. We'll probably only be out for like half an hour.
The kids dressed as a dragon (Lady Baby) and a pirate (Mr. Baby). They were so dang cute
I dressed as Alice in Wonderland and Jen went as Harry Potter, since we already had those costumes.
We went to my mom's and took the babies to "trick or treat" at the houses on either side of her.
No fun adult party. I'm kind of thinking we might want to host that yearly once the kids get a little older and we have more friends. (Of course we wouldn't do it when Halloween actually falls on Saturday, since we'll spend that trick-or-treating with the kids.) My BFF always gets invited to this great Halloween party her friends do every year, always with a different theme, and it seems like it would be really fun to host. We live in different cities so we wouldn't be competing or anything.
Annie was going to be Tiana from Princess and the Frog - but all Halloween activites were cancelled here. If we get power back in the next week they may reschedule.
What are kids dressing up as? Someone lent us adorable (and warm!) elephant costumes for Carrot and Pumpkin, Zucchini decided to be a mime, then a trapeze artist, so L was a clown and I was a ringmaster!
Are you dressing up?
Will you trick or treat in your neigborhood? First time--lots of fun!
Are you attending a fun adult/only party? Nope--I wish there was even a fun family party, but just trick or treating.
