I'm so so tired today and I finally lay down with my peanut and she finally goes to sleep but the house next door is a construction zone and so loud. They literally just brought in the jackhammer. It has been foreclosed and empty about 2 years. I heard they took the cabinets and poured cement down the pipes. I don't see why the bank just doesn't demo it. No napping here for a while. Sigh.
To stick it to the bank. They didn't speak a word of English so I don't know if they were assholes, but if the cement rumor is true, then they probably were. The jack hammer is making me think maybe it is. Why else would they be doing whatever in gods name they are doing in there? I wish they would tear it down and give me a bigger yard.
I was shopping for foreclosures in Port Charlotte before I got this job, and I found a great one that had the wood flooring ripped up (because people are dicks). Oh, and it had Chinese Drywall. Which was sad because I had already design my retro Florida postcard-style Christmas Cards that said, "Happy Holidays from Banana Street!"
Banana street is pretty badass! My house is a foreclosure. It needed work but typical stuff, the previous owners didn't strip it (except the ceiling fans but if they were like the ugly blinds and lights that we are replacing, I thank them.
Why would they pour cement in the pipes?? Assholes...
because they believe it's the bank's fault they got in over their heads. I was horrified at some of the things I saw when we looked a foreclosed homes.
