Is it just me or does Christmas seem to be coming earlier and earlier every year? It's just November and they already have the huge tree up at the BX and buildings around town are decorated for Christmas. Seems pretty early to me..

Most places had stuff up even in October that i saw. I think its the norm now to put it out so early.

There was Christmas music at the mall yesterday. I loathe most of the carols which makes shopping, a task I already dislike, a personal hell.

I swear, eventually, there will be permanent Christmas displays everywhere you look.

Starbucks has their Christmas cups out already, too.

This is nothing new. As soon as Halloween is over Christmas begins. It's been like this for as long as I can remember.

I am really annoyed that my town has Christmas decorations up all over the town square, parks, etc. it's so tacky to have them up on November 1st.

Where I'm from it's highly unusual (or was rather) to have Christmas anything up until after Thanks Giving. I feel like people see Thanksgiving as a fuel up for Black Friday holiday. Which is kinda a bummer because it's my favorite holiday.
I was just telling H it's getting to be like Whoville '364 days and 16 hours until Christmas' lol
