Where to buy Vegas show tix?

We're heading to Vegas next week and may catch a few shows (absinthe and maybe a cirque show). Where is the best place to buy tickets for the best price? Online or wait til we get there?

I've subscribed to the Cirque's newsletter and receive promo codes through that. You're leaving in just a week but it's a worth a shot. Otherwise I'd say smartervegas.com.

Try the website for the hotel the show is at. Try Tix4Tonight the day of the show for half-price tickets, but know that there's no guarantee that tickets for any of the big shows will be available. Just be aware that Cirque shows tend to sell out ahead of time, especially for weekend shows.

For Absinthe, if you walk by Caesar's in front of the tent during the day, there will be a man in a cheesy white suit handing out $20 off coupons and then you can just buy right there. It's usually not sold out if you go early and it's open seating. I went in February and that was the case. We bought our Cirque show tickets ahead from the website with a promo code.

Sign up for Yuupon. We scored Phantom tix for $8 a piece back in January. I've seen some other great deals since then.
