They are getting rid of both Ellis and Dev! Yay! I hated Ellis and they made Dev awful in the end. But I hope they don't get Karen together with Derek, I just think that would be so lame.

I'm not sad to lose Dev or Ellis, but the update at the bottom of the article said the actor who plays Julia's husband is leaving, and Will Chase* (Michael Swift) is, too. Sad about that. Will Chase is amazing.

And I love Ivy and Karen's voices. They are both incredibly talented, with very different styles. I prefer Ivy for Broadway type music, and Karen for pop style music, but they're both amazing.

I'm sooooo glad that Dev and Ellis will be gone. I don't really care about losing Frank or Michael. I hate that we have to wait so long for the next season!

I think Karen's voice is better than Ivy's, but Ivy's look is just so perfect for the part. She's a bitch, though, so I'm rooting for Karen.

As much as I hated Ellis, I was kind of looking forward to his shenanigans. They certainly set it up like he would continue wreaking havoc when he told Eileen she hadn't heard the last of it in the finale.

I am so glad Ellis isn't coming back, he was annoying and I never thought his character added much to the storyline.

I loved Dev in the early episodes but now I won't miss him. Although, like PP said, it's probably just leading to a Karen-Derek-Ivy love triangle, which is lame.

I too am just fine with Ellis leaving. I get that his character was supposed to be over the top but the acting wasn't even good.
The only thing that's too bad about reading these type of spoilers is figuring Julia isn't going to be getting back with her husband or her lovah. I mean, that's kind of her whole story line.
And Karen won't be with Dev since he's leaving the show...who will her love interest be then??

Karen has the better voice but absolutely no sex appeal IMO. She's very boring. Honestly I don't care for either female lead more than the other.

Not sure how I feel about this.... I dont like Ellis' character, but he does add a little spice to the show.. even if it is an annoying one. Dev, I could really care less about.

So michael and Frank are leaving??? How are they going to pull that one off??

Oh, I didn't realize Julia's husband and Michael were leaving too! That's a pretty big turnover. I wonder how they'll change it up and introduce new characters.

My favorite part of the show is the show numbers (singing and dancing is so good!) and Tom and Julia's relationship. Don't care much about a lot of the rest of it, but for some reason I'm hooked on the show. I really hope it improves with the new direction when it comes back.

LMBO! Me too. I like it because I like the main characters and the music but Ellis and all of the side dancers/singers drive me crazy. Like really insane. And don't get me started on Uma! Glad she is gone as well.

Disagree there. Karen's voice is better for pop music maybe, but not good at all in the musical theater world.
