What's everyone up to today and this weekend?

I'm dead tired. I was awake from 1:30ish-5:30ish (I'm not sure of the exact times but this is pretty close) for no reason. I've been taking Unisom to help me sleep because I'd wake up, pee, get back in bed, toss and turn for an hour, sleep for an hour, then rinse and repeat and I was just exhausted. I didn't take any Unisom last night because while I've been falling right back to sleep after getting up to pee, I didn't feel any more rested than I was feeling so I didn't take any last night to see how I slept. Obviously that was a dumb idea.

So I'm sitting here at work, doing research on a bunch of leases we have with private entities to provide services in our State Parks and it's all I can do to stay awake while reading all the legal mumbo jumbo in these leases. It's waaaaaayyyyy too early on a Friday morning for this crap.

I think we are going to go to the cabin this weekend. We can't go next weekend because my sister is having my neice baptised on Sunday and I probably ought to be there since I'm her godmother. So I thnk we've decided to go this weekend instead. *Sigh* I love it there and I can't wait to get there and do a whole lot of nothing. Although the dresser we want to use for the baby is up there and loaded full of crap so maybe we will get that all cleaned out and ready to be hauled home when we're ready for it.

I had days like that when I was pregnant with B. The only help I found is I would never turn on any lights, we just plugged a night light up in the bathroom, and when I laid back down sometimes I would lay on my heating pad (it had a auto off after 30 minutes). By getting all warm and toasty I would drift right off.

I am not up to much today. I did some yard work this morning, and now I am starving. I want to go for a run later, but not sure where to go at this point.

Today is DH's birthday. Tomorrow is DD's birthday. Sunday is Mother's Day. Monday we drive to OHIO! Wheeeeeeeeeeee Lots of beer and good food and then family and friends!

I'm almost done reading the leases legal mumbo jumbo shit. Then I can do mundane work the rest of the day. And if we decide to go to the cabin for sure, I might leave early so we can get there at a decent time instead of bed time! Although bedtime for me tonight just might be 5:00.

My mom will be here Monday and then we're outtie the following Monday, so I have to get our house into move-out mode so M won't have to do much other than load the truck.

I actually love packing and cleaning.

I can't wait to be "home" for a couple weeks! I'm sure I'll be more than ready to leave MO in my dust by the end of those 2 weeks, but for now I"m pumped to see all my homies!

Howdy, I'm sorry you're having a rough time sleeping these days. I hope it gets better and that you can feel rested in the mornings! I sort of know how you feel today, I didn't get any sleep last night and was up at 3:50 to get everything ready for our trip. We came with Ash and family (without my baby) to Catalina Island! We had to leave really early though. Thank goodness I was able to take a cat nap on the ferry and just now in our hotel room! I can't function without sleep.
