Just got home from my 24 week appointment. The fruit punch glucose drink wasn't too bad.
I start childbirth classes tomorrow and am a bit frightened. I'm not sure I really want to know. That said, OB mentioned that my fibroids are getting bigger, and baby is currently in frank breach position, so I need to keep in mind that a c-section may happen. Yes, there's time for the baby to move, but the bigger concern is the fibroids, and controlling bleeding during the birth.
Also, OB's office seems to think that my insurance company and St. Joe's will resolve their issues, but we will revaluate at my next appointment.
I'm not going to mention that the OB said a c-section is a possibility to my husband for a few more weeks. He was bitching that we have 9 hours of childbirth classes ahead of us and I don't want to give any more fuel to his argument. I'll mention it once we're done

We took that same 9 hour class. They do go over c sections but I didn't listen during that part. I was so sure that would never be me. I was 100% getting that baby out drug free. Then I alas I ended up scheduling, but the classes were still never a regret. Hopefully you get Kathy as a teacher. She's awesome.
I've never had fibroids before so I don't know how fast they can grow but I hope yours take a major chill.
Aegis - Wow, hope he turns for you and damn them fibroids. You weren't supposed to have any more issues! Too funny about H, hey, what he doesn't know...
Alzi - It was definitely weird at first. Congrats on getting furniture, maybe. You're getting stuff done ;-)
So last Tuesday I took Mia to the dr, another ear infection. Dr & daycare were both surprised because she has been acting fine. They put her on Omnicef(her 3rd antibiotic), they said it might turn her poop red. Thank God they told me that, otherwise I would have been really freaking out w/her first tomato soup looking diaper explosion. She was doing good until yesterday when she woke up at 3 am and was inconsolable...took her in and ear infection is still crazy after six days on meds, so they switched her to Suprax. Today was better, 4 am and a better mood, thank you Motrin. We go back Thursday for a recheck.
