I'm really stressed over our senate and superintendent of public instruction elections. I really like what the incumbent SPI has done in a lot of cases but teachers seem to hate him. I figured they would have a rockstar candidate to oppose him since he's apparently so horrible, but I was super disappointed in her. I spent about 6 hours researching this one race and couldn't get answer of why to support her other than "it's what's best for teachers" which was really frustrating.
I think we're in the same state. I spent a lot of time reading about that race yesterday, too - I feel the same way you do.
We're being innundated with commercials, but they're all for IL because our tv is out of Chicago and we vote in IN.
I'll vote tomorrow during the day.
I ended up finding several public testimonies where Ritz testified on behalf of ISTA. To me it seems like ISTA is running her so they can have control over the position.
