Good Morning Ladies...
Here I am looking for advice again! I have awful allergies, like I got tested two years back and had quarter size hive reactions to 16 different allergens. So flash forward to now... I have been taking Zyrtec non-stop for the past two years, in the spring I also take singular, but in the fall my allergies aren't as bad, so I can cut that out. I am having major withdrawal symptoms from stopping the Zyrtec, not only to I have the congestion and headache, but like every inch of my body is itching!
Any advice as to how to long this will last, and if there is anything OTC that is safe while pregnant to put on my skin (lotions, creams, etc)?

I don't see my ob until next week (tues) since she said she won't be able to see anything until 6 weeks. I was told by my NP that it is not the safest drug, so if I can avoid it to try and do so. It has not been tested on pregnant women... the only allergy med they can say for certain is safe is benadryl... and that puts me to sleep! I have it on my list of questions for my apt next week!
Well Dr. Google says it's safe for pregnancy since it's such a low dose. Plus I have seen several pg woman recommend it since they OBGYN say it's fine. This pregnancy I determined not to sweat the small stuff though.
