Ok, do we want to keep doing daily check ins? Or just do weekly on Wednesday? I'm up for whatever.
Finally got motivated to workout yesterday and I'm hoping it jump starts me to get back into a regular routine. Still struggling a little (ok, a lot) with eating, so need to try and tackle that ASAP.
I am dreading the inevitable weight gain of the holidays - I am one of those people who gains WAY more than the average 1-2 pounds other people gain. Last year I gained I think 8 pounds from Thanksgiving to New Year's and started 2012 at my highest weight ever. It was miserable. So I definitely need to work hard this year to keep the gain to a minimum. I think it will help that we're not traveling for the holidays so more time to ourselves and less food around!
I'm proud of myself for continuing to run 15-20 mile per week even after I finished my half marathon. Yesterday I did nice 10 miler.
I worry about what will happen when the weather (snow) keeps me from running outside anymore. I'd been pregnant or nursing for 4 years. When DS2 finally stopped nursing, I realized pretty quickly that I needed to do something to accommodate the eating I'd gotten used to. Running has been it.
I guess I just hope I'm pregnant by this winter so I can blame any weight gain on that

I'm sitting here in running clothes, procrastinating! I did have a very active weekend though--8 mile run on Saturday, 6 mile hike on Sunday. Now I'm going to go off for a short run, normally Monday is an off day for me, but with the election and plans to meet up with friends to watch the results come in tomorrow, I won't have time...so off I go!
