Do you think we caught the window?

I'm OOT with DH and need to decide whether to go home today or tomorrow. Today would be better, and it's a 7 hour drive, so I need to know in the next couple hours (it's 11 now). What do you girls think? Have we caught the window?

My Ovulation Chart

My first digital positive OPK was Saturday at noon. I did NOT do a digital when I woke up at 6, but I think it would have been positive because the Wondfos were the same color in the morning and at noon. So I'm not totally sure when my surge started. I got a SUPER dark positive yesterday, Sunday, at noon. My test was less dark this morning - I'm going to test again at lunch to see if it's faded more. (I could take a pic of the tests if you want to see them.)

We had sex Saturday at 10 pm and Sunday at 10:30 am and midnight. Midnight sex did not feel good - I needed to use the Pre-Seed and I think my cervix is lower. There's also no wet CM on my panties anymore (it's wet inside but is that EWCM or semen? hell if I know!).

As for the temps, I was a slow riser last month. I stayed up late last night, and when I temped this morning, I had only been asleep for 3.5 hours and got 97.2; I immediately fell back into a deep sleep and when I temped again after 5.5 hours of sleep, it was 97.7, which would have been a rise for me, but I'm not sure if that's a legit temp.

So, DH would kill me for telling you, but he's reached his max and doesn't think he can go again. Should I stay here and hope he could go again this afternoon or tonight, or do you think we're good? I keep trying to do the math with sperm life and egg life and ovulation X hours after LH peak... Sigh, this is our last chance for a year and I feel like we screwed up by having sex too early.

I'm going to guess based on the opk and the cp, you caught it. And honestly, if your DH isn't up for it, he's not likely to get excited enough to produce his best swimmers anyhow. That documentary The Great Sperm Race talks about how a guy draws from further back in the testes when he's very aroused, and produces the best semen, or something like that.

I get all worried because there's a positive OPK and there's a positive OPK, KWIM? Does the 24-36 hour window start from the peak-peak or when those tests first turn positive? And at what point during the upward slope are the tests actually turning positive? Agh lol.

I would say that if you got a positive OPK on Saturday, then you probably O'd Sunday, and you are just at the very end of your window (and it may be closed). If you did it once Saturday night and twice Sunday, then I think you're good:-)

eh, I would think you're pretty well covered. If DH was more excited about it, I'd say stay, but maybe save the forced molestation for when there are better odds. lol
