I wasn't surprised at Finn not getting in, but was at Kurt. I started boo hooing right about that point. I'm so so so glad they didn't get married. Puck's off to CA, Quinn to Yale, Rachel to NYC, Harry to Chicago- how's that going to work next year?? I was hoping Kurt would at least still go to NYC with her.
I LOVED the single ladies dance. Hilarious and touching!
I'm glad that Finn pushed Rachel towards her dream. So sweet. I obviously know that Glee is coming back, but this episode absolutely felt like a series finale to me, not just a season finale.
Ps - I loved schu singing "Forever Young." Why hasn't he been singing at all this season?
I think one of the graduates (Kurt?) is going to end up as the Glee club coach. Figgins will leave and Will will replace him as principal.
The way they handled the Brittany storyline was really stupid. "Surprise -- I'm not graduating! No one noticed I was flunking everything?" But they need a good dancer now that Mike's gone.
So Tina and Blaine will be the vocal leads and they will get some new people to fill in. I think Unique will transfer to be part of the New Directions.
Alex, the guy who plays Unique, was only scheduled to get two episodes, I think. BUT, he was phenomenal in both performances. Although I did not like him on Glee Project, I hope he stays on Glee.
I really liked this episode and agree it seemed more like a series finale. I'm glad the teen wedding didn't happen but I already figured that would be the case.
Eliseb has an interesting prediction and I'm not opposed to it. Kurt's voice annoys me though so if a graduate does replace Schue, I hope it's not Kurt. Although his future is the most up in the air. This would be very Jesse St. James of McKinley High.

But Rory was also supposed to only get so many episodes and be done after the Valentines episode (I think it was that one - or around there) so if they like them apparently they will stick around as background characters.

I don't think Tina is strong enough to be the lead of ND. She's certainly not up to the talent level of Blaine.
I didn't like that Finn basically decided their future and her future without consulting her. I would be crying too, but pissed and punchy. Ah, tv.
Just watched this last night, and am SO confused with how they left it. Like, will the Glee Project winners be back to help fill spaces? WTF will happen with Kurt, and why did they just leave it? Where is Puck going? Will Santana and Rachel meet up in NY? Why isn't Santana going to LA like she talked about in other episodes?

I wanted more of a future plan for Mercedes. I feel like they glossed over her (and her incredible talent) all season - except for defining her through who she was dating.

So glad I'm not the only one annoyed by that.
Also her whole reaction to him joining the military bugged me. As if joining the military is some terrible thing that should only be a last resort in life, and she should be talking him out of it.

MH and I actually had a long conversation about how you are led to think that Mercedes is a major character but she isn't. Her story is very underdeveloped. If you really think about it, we know very little about her. All she really does is quit the Glee club every season.
I wish this show was better. It's not character driven and it's not plot driven. We're basically tuning in each week to see what songs they are going to sing. It's a big cast and they end up not giving anyone a decent amount of attention. Even their "cliff hangers" at this season finale were undramatic and basically swept under the rug. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.

I agree with you. Glee is a big disappointment for me. I love the songs, but I don't have any real connections to the characters past season one.

I don't like how it ended. It's all left up in the air. I hated that Brittany wasn't going to graduate! And, I thought that Artie was a senior so that was confusing.

I saw an article re: Glee4 some time ago and Googled to confirm if my poor widdle brain was recalling correctly. I was pretty sure Kurt was going to make it to NYADA based on the earlier article. But anywhozit, Kate Hudson has apparently been signed to a six-series arc as mentor to Rachel. Sarah Jessica Parker has been signed in a mentorship role to Kurt (this is the article that made me think he was going to be accepted). I think he will be going to NY, just not as a student at NYADA. He commented in the article, tongue-in-cheek, that it would be fun to work in a fashion role in NY, he'd love to work at Vogue as Anna Wintour's assistant and then start his own magazine called Curtain to address fashions for show choirs. And we all know SJP is big into her (unique) fashion.

Damian and Samuel both won the Glee Project and were supposed to get 7 episode arcs. I believe Damian ended up appearing in 10. I'm hoping they'll be back next season as regulars, esp. Damian.

I like Samuel, but I really don't want to see Damian back. I would like to see Lindsay come back in competition. I'm not a big fan of her in general, but I love seeing her perform. I would like to see Hannah be featured too.
