3 cats, Sam, Hunter, Boo and two dogs, Darwin is a beagle basset and Molly is a beagle shepherd. Everyone is found, rescued, whatever. Fosters: mama cat and four 12 day old kittens.

We have 13 animals.

As you can see in my siggie, we have 3 dogs (Elsie, Bueller, and Piper), 4 cats (Olive, Everest, Elliot, and Ferris), and 6 chickens (we're still coming to an agreement on names).

We're located not too far outside of Portland, Oregon.

I am at my last day of work as an Office Manager, and am starting work at a new company on Monday, as what could be most accurately described as a Project Manager. I'm incredibly excited, especially for my unique benefits with the new company.

I had been on the nest since 2009.

How long were you on the other board? - I joined the Knot about 3 years ago, about 1.5 years ago I came over to the Nest. I mostly post on PC&E, but I also post on Pets and the Nest Book Club sporadically. Same screen name.

The cats both have Polycystic Kidney Disease (genetic trait of not-well-bred Persians) and Sam is in Stage III renal failure (treatment involves food, medication and subcutaneous fluids). Lilah's A-OK for now.

My former cat, Nimbus, had hepadic lipidosis, corneal herpes, and heart disease at various times before he was PTS at age 14 last October.

I can therefore talk about lots of diagnoses and medical issues related to cats. :-) Hope to help.
